Trying to get into the "spirit" of Christmas as this is the first year we are not going to be at our stationary home. We brought our little Christmas tree with us and the little sign that says "A warm winter welcome".... redundant since it's been 80 degrees here. But then, these are just "things" which has nothing to do with the "spirit" of Christmas. There are lots of Palm trees here so I tend to focus on them... since they remind me of Jerusalem and Bethlehem... places where Christ was. And of course, we forgot our Christmas music CD's and had to buy a couple of them. One of them came with a video of a crackling fireplace... funny to watch since it's so warm outside :)
The campground is having Christmas dinner on the 20th (2PM) and a "decorate your golf cart" parade at 6 PM.
All in all I think it will be a fun time. We have Butch in his favorite spot and found a spot for our little tree along with our talking and singing Santa's. The shelf above the TV provides a place for my fiber optic Snowman and Reindeer along with Santa . All in all, it's getting to look a little more like Christmas... without the snow and cold....
