Together Again !!

We haven't been with "the cousins" in a couple of weeks... not until we met back here in Orlando. Kay and Ken, Karen and Bob. We are planning a "big" family reunion this weekend with about 20 + people here. I'll take pictures and post.

It's cold down here !!

See it really does get cold here. There's also ice on my car !! Thankfully it is warming up into the 70's today. The cold snap is over.

Jim is the one who set my blog up at the Peace River campground. Hey Jim, if you are out there, I put in a good word for you here at Orlando, so you may be getting a phone call.

We're here !!

We got up a little late today. The "kids" slept in and didn't get us up. We were planning on getting an earlier start, but what the hey... we're in the slow lane. The wind was just horrid today so it took us a little longer traveling from Peace River up to Orlando preserve. We are here for a couple of weeks before we head back to Peace River. Kim and Steve are flying down on Thursday for a little vacation. We upgraded our membership so we were able to get them into a Get Away cabin. You can see a picture of it from an earlier post. It has a hot tub and grill so I told them to expect us there a lot !!

Tuesday I have a cooking class with Homemade Gourmet in the morning. I'll be at the Fam Hist Center that afternoon. Wed. we are going up to see Don and Jane in Brooksville. Ann and Dell will be there too. Thursday Kim and Steve come in. Sunday afternoon we are having a little family reunion with Lori, Jamie, all the kids, and maybe my brother and Bonnie. Should be fun.

On the nature trail, you must be careful of gators. Her name is Stumpy and you can usually find her sunning herself on the bank of the Peace River just behind the campground. For this reason, we do not let Sammy run free. :)
